Happy Jelly Roll Day!

All of us here at Quilt Theory love quilting with pre-cuts. They save so much time cutting and it is amazing all of the designs you can create using them!

Jelly rolls are a bundle of 2 1/2″ x WOF strips of fabric, generally all from a single fabric collection. They are perfect for quilts that use a lot of strips or 2 1/2″ squares. Since today is National Jelly Roll Day, we had to do a little celebrating and show you our favorite jelly roll patterns.

We currently have 2 jelly roll patterns available with 2 more jelly roll friendly patterns launching this October (stay tuned!!). If you have a jelly roll that’s been waiting for the perfect pattern, check out these options…

From our first collection, Jelly Lanterns is a quick and easy lap quilt pattern. I love how the strips make up the lanterns!

From our Spring collection, Staggered is a great way to showcase an entire fabric line or use your favorite rainbow blenders like this cover version.

I’m not sure when Layer Cake Day or Charm Square day will be (or is it everyday?! haha), but we have patterns available for almost any kind of precut! We’ve added a precut friendly filter to the sidebar menu of our shop, so you can search for patterns using the precut you have!

I hope you all enjoy this very special holiday and celebrate with great quilting enthusiasm 🙂
